Colin M. Smith
I received my BFA in Acting from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Born in New Jersey, raised in Wisconsin. I found a love for Theatre from a very young age. Through different life experience, I found what I love most is being a story teller, and I hope to be telling stories through as many mediums as I can, for the rest of my life.

WAGON WHEEL
In the midst of my final semester in college, I embarked on putting an idea into camera.
“WAGON WHEEL” is the story of Matt, going through a new chapter in his life. A chapter in which he must face the demons of his past, all while doing so without his father by his side…
I used to think it would be years until I made my first film. Through hard work and immense help from those around me, I was able to accomplish this milestone in my career and I’m excited to share it.

Stunt work & Choreography
Alongside acting, directing, and film making, I became involved in the world of staged combat and choreography, both as a performer and choreographer.
My Knowledge Base
What first spawned my interested in the world of staged combat was actually born in my real life experience as a US Army National Guard Infantryman. Taking my real world experience in BJJ, Boxing, Kickboxing, and training on multiple firearms platforms, coupled perfectly with my love for combat on the stage. My time in the military and the training I received taught me this if nothing else; when training, both armed and unarmed, safety is the highest priority. With that base, I was able to train within the classroom at UNCG under Jim Wren, who taught me unarmed and armed styles of combat.
