Stunt work & Choreography
Alongside acting, directing, and film making, I became involved in the world of staged combat and choreography, both as a performer and choreographer.
My Knowledge Base
What first spawned my interested in the world of staged combat was actually born in my real life experience as a US Army National Guard Infantryman. Taking my real world experience in BJJ, Boxing, Kickboxing, and training on multiple firearms platforms, coupled perfectly with my love for combat on the stage.
My time in the military and the training I received taught me this if nothing else; when training, both armed and unarmed, safety is the highest priority.
With that base, I was able to train within the classroom at UNCG under Jim Wren, who taught me unarmed and armed styles of combat. Weapon systems include:
Broad Sword, Quarter Staff, Rapier, and Rapier & Dagger
